Merlin Training Academy Gains AAT Accreditation

We are very pleased to announce that Merlin’s Training Academy has been successful in becoming an Accredited Employer by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
The AAT is the UK’s leading qualification and membership body for accounting and finance staff, awarding around 90% of all vocational qualifications in accountancy. They are sponsored by the professional accountancy bodies the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
Merlin Head of Employee Development, Val Barlow says: "Obtaining this accreditation demonstrates our commitment to the professional development of all our staff. The AAT acknowledge the value of our internal training programmes which count towards the mandatory AAT Continuing Professional Development. The accreditation yet again proves that by having in place detailed Role Profiles and Competencies, Performance Appraisals, Personal Development Plans, Training Modules and Programmes we clearly demonstrate investment in our people to develop them to their full potential. We will also have access to study support materials, CPD resources and the latest AAT news via the AAT website.
